+ Can I use insurance for any of your services or the 360 Wellness Program?

Dr. Auer is an out-of-network provider for all insurance carriers. Please contact our office to verify your insurance benefits for chiropractic services. Claim forms can be made available for you to submit to your insurance.

Please note, with the exception of Medicare and personal injury or automobile injury cases, we do not bill insurance on your behalf. Dr. Auer’s functional medicine services and 360 Wellness Program are not covered by traditional insurance plans. Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Accounts (HSA) may be used to cover the costs of these services.

+ Is functional medicine and the 360 Wellness Program right for me?

Functional medicine is a treatment that works for most individuals. However, patients who do best under our care fit the following criteria:

  • They are interested in discovering the underlying cause of their problems and not simply suppressing symptoms.
  • They are motivated to actively participate in their own healing process.
  • They are willing to make any essential dietary and lifestyle changes to support their health and well-being to the fullest extent.

+ I'm currently under the care of another physician. Will embarking on the 360 Wellness Program interfere with my current treatment?

No. We understand that comprehensive care often requires coordination between several healthcare providers. We integrate all our programs with existing treatment plans.

+ I'm currently taking medications. Is it safe for me to start the 360 Wellness Program?

We obtain a full picture of your detailed medical history and any medications that you're currently taking. Most of our patients see great benefit from continuing their medication regimen once they start our program. Nonetheless, we advise our patients to consult with their prescribing physicians prior to embarking on our program.

+ I have a busy schedule. Will I be able to follow this program?

Success in the 360 Wellness Program requires dedication and commitment from both the patient and the healthcare provider. We make every effort to create programs that are easy to follow for people with demanding jobs and busy lifestyles.

+ I'm interested in starting the 360 Wellness Program. Will my insurance cover the costs?

Traditional insurance plans do not cover the costs of our programs. Some types of spending accounts, such as health savings accounts (HSAs), flexible spending accounts (FSAs), and health reimbursement accounts, may cover some or all of the cost. Because today's healthcare climate is always changing, check with your spending account representative to see what costs will be covered. Please contact our office for additional information.

+ Can your program help me? Have you worked with anyone with my condition in the past?

There are no guarantees that our programs will help you. Even though most of our patients report positive results from working with us, every patient presents unique health challenges. Please contact us with any condition-specific questions.

+ How often do I need to meet with Dr. Auer? How long are the consultations?

The 360 Wellness Program is designed to provide you with maximum access to Dr. Auer and his staff. The frequency of visits will be determined by your unique health presentation and your individualized treatment plan. New-patient consultations last one hour, and follow-up consultations are typically 10 to 20 minutes long. On special occasions, or per request, Dr. Auer may spend more time with you.

+ How long will it take to resolve my condition?

Most of our patients see improvement fairly quickly. Some patients report improvement within a few weeks or even days, while other patients may require 30 to 90 days to see measurable changes.

+ What happens if I am unable to follow the program exactly?

All program recommendations are designed to maximize your experience and provide outstanding results. Not following every recommendation may slow down your overall progress.

+ What lifestyle changes will I have to make to be successful in the 360 Wellness Program?

Changes required of you in this program may include modifications to your overall lifestyle, dietary habits, exercise habits, and work environment.
