Green Juice

Here's my favorite "detox" juice! 

I love making this drink when I really want to do something good for my body. This juice will not only aid in weight-loss and detoxification,  but also provide your body with a ton of phytonutrients, vitamins, and minerals.

The green juice is also great for patients who are suffering with colitis and other GI conditions. Since the juicing eliminates the fiber,  it allows our body to more easily absorb the nutrients.

INGREDIENTS

YIELD: Serves 2-3

  • 1 Lemon
  • 5 celery branches
  • 2 cucumbers
  • 14 ounces of romaine
  • 10 ounces of spinach
  • 3 fuji apples
  • 8 ounces of kale

PREPARATION

  1. Wash all of the ingredients well.
    • Cut the celery branches, cucumbers and fuji apples into bite-size pieces if your juicer cannot process food whole.
  2. In a juicer, juice all of the ingredients.
  3. Drink and enjoy!
